Pillow Top Mattress

slept on it for the first night and woke up with back pain this morning. It feels soft and sumptuous when I first lay on it but after a while it feels like there is not enough support for my back. Should I send it back or give it more time?

My young son has had several accidents on our mattress. I know I know I should have invested in a mattress cover. But I didn’t so there isnt a need to post that on here. So I always spot clean it right after the accident with mild detergent and warm water. It takes the spots out and the smell. But I was going to wash the sheets and took them off and found dark spots of where I had cleaned. How can I clean&sanitize my whole mattress? There are several spots and I need the best solution to making it all clean & white again. Please Help!! Btw after I do this I’m going to buy a mattress cover! Thanks

Had another lower spinal fusion this month! This hid-abed is killing me.
I desperately need to know witch mattress is softer.(Queen.)Can’t afford to guess witch is proper
for my back.Low income! Very difficult to fiscally shop around. I hope someone can give me

Are such mattresses available in Singapore and what is their general cost for a queen size one with box spring and frame?

i have so been spoilt by my mattress here in the US but it seems a wee bit too expensive to ship home!
is that SGD2500? or the estimate in USD?
but i’ll live because they have SEALY!! SGD2500 right?

Ok! So I’m planning on purchasing a new bedroom set. I haven’t decided on the mattress yet. WHY? Because I’m not sure which mattress best suits me. I’ve considered many factors: I have slight back aches, I’m a stomach sleeper, need a mattress that WILL NOT adjust to body temperature, don’t wanna toss and turn and bother my fiance while she’s getting her beauty rest, and a mattress that’s not so pricy but yet, at the same time durable. I stay out here in Cali and my personal favorite is the aerotek since it’s made of gel, but I was originally looking into the Simon’s double pillow-top mattress. To me, pillow-top seems to be the only mattress that is in between. I don’t know, what do you guys think? Any experienced suggestions?

I recently got a Sealy Posturepedia Pillowtop and realized that it makes my body sink into what feels like quicksand and it’s harder to turn. Assuming its a POSTUREpedic mattress..does it really help your posture at all? Also, would my pillowtop mattress stunt growth?

Seems that we should be able to take it off and maybe use a mattress foam pad and sheets on it! Our pillow top is shifting and bunching up after 4years. It is a very $$$Sterns and foster brand.

It seems to be a little shorter than the original, and the fitted sheet is too big. Do I have to buy all new sheets now?

I am SO frustrated! Our cat got locked in out room and my husband and I had left for work. She was locked for 9+ hours and peed in our bed. We got in bed and I smelled urine. So I started moving the covers around and sure enough she had peed a HUGE spot which soaked through all our blankets, sheets, and mattress cover leaving the mattress soaked. I washed all of our bedding in bleach/detergent and the smell came out of them. We couldn’t "fliip" the mattress because it’s a pillow top. Well.. The clean sheets and all our bedding stink no matter what I do because the smell rises from the mattress. I am so upset with this and DO NOT know what to do. I dont even want to get in our bed because the smell makes me sick (Im 20 weeks pregnant). We spent 00 on this mattress for my husband when he had back surgery and the mattress is not even a year old. HELP!!!!!

I have had my mattress now for two years. It is out of warranty and cannot purchase a new mattress right now. It sags in the middle. I’ve tried to sleep on the edges to wear it out evenly and even tried rotating it. I can’t flip the mattress b/c it is a one sided pillow top. The dent in the middle is so much that i’ve been having back and shoulder problems. I don’t know how to fix it short of sticking some linens in the hole and getting an egg crate and sleeping on top of that.

Any suggestions??

I bought this mattress b/c it was very comfortable only to get it home and then realize none of my sheets fit b/c it is a much thincker mattress. I know I can buy deep pocket sheets but they are very expensive and i would have to buy them seperate from a comforter set which also makes me mad. Anyone out there know of a website that sells deep pocket sheet with comforter sets or do you knwo if any other options? I wasn’t very well informed (my sales guy didn’t do a very good job) when i bought the mattress, I wanted to take it back but it is illlegl to resell a mattress. I will never, by the way, buy a mattress form mattress discounters again !!!!!!!!!!

My husband started my IV today (for antibiotic treatment), since he is a paramedic the doctor allows him to do it at home and save me the hospital stay and $$. Beside the fact, he left the cap off the lock of the IV when I fell asleep only to wake up with about a pint of blood all over my pillow, into my pillow top mattress, on my sheets and my clothes. The sheets and clothing and pillow were easy. But you cannot put a whole mattress in the washer So, does anyone have any ideas? I have used hydrogen peroxide for about 2 hours now, pouring, blotting and scrubbing. It lightens it some but the blood keeps seeping back through from where it has soaked all the way under the pillow top. Thanks in advance!!!

I have a queen size pillow top. The queen size sheets do not fit properly on the bed. The corners always slip off, and they catch on the pillow top and are beginning to rip the pillow top from the mattress.

Are there any sheets made specifically for pillow tops? If yes, where do I find them?
Would king size sheets work?

I have a queen size bed with a very thick pillow top. My queen size sheets hardly cover the pillow top. I know they sell "extra deep" sheets, but they are very expensive. Maybe king size sheets will work for me? I mean, I’m a college student…I want my set up to look nice, but I can’t afford 0 for extra deep sheets. Any insight would be amazing! Thanks -Andy

Mattress is new and blood is menstrual, on for one day.

My Kimble plush pillow top mattress, that I paid over 00 was just delivered. It feels noting like the mattress I tried at the show room store. It seems much firmer and the pillow top doesn’t seem soft. The show room model was perfect and the mattress was firm but conformed to my body and was very comfortable. I triple check with the store to make sure they sent me the correct model and they confirmed it is. Is there really a break in period for a pillow top mattress? I seems to me that the pillow top would come some what soft and wouldn’t require months to break in.. The new mattress seem worst then the 20+ years mattress with bed topper they took away. Thanks for any insight..
